Zachary Ty Brian in an Oregon state prison again for alleged domestic violence, EW has confirmed.

In October 2020, Brian was initially arrested for fourth-degree assault and strangulation. He ended up pleading guilty to two lesser charges: misdemeanor threat and misdemeanor assault. Earlier this year, in a profile of Hollywood ReporterBryan said his arrest was “outgrown” by the media, adding that the encounter was not as physical as the police report said.
“We didn’t get that physically,” Brian said. “We got really loud. We were screaming and because we were in a townhouse with (thin walls) everyone could hear… At the end of the day, (the police) throw a bunch of charges at you because they finally want you to plead something.”
Bryan also alleged that the police mocked his child star status and nicknamed him “Country Club Zack”. Of the charges, he added, “I could have fought it, but that’s more stress and drama. I received two misdemeanors and call them today.”
For her part, Cartwright alleged that Brian had been abusive in the month prior to the incident and alleged in the report that Brian “pulled her hair,” punched her in the face, and “choked” her for approximately 45 seconds.

Brian’s latest arrest is the latest in a long line of legal troubles he has faced. In addition to the 2020 assault charges, he was booked for a DUI in May of the same year. THR Reports said he pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to five years probation and 18 months in a multiple-offender alcohol program, due to previous DUI arrests in 2004, 2007, and 2017.
